Highest image quality thanks to IPS panel

The monitor delivers a triad of outstanding image quality: an excellent resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a maximum contrast of 1000:1, and a stable brightness of up to 350 cd/m². This means you'll experience razor-sharp text contours, brilliant graphics, and clear images. Thanks to the high-quality IPS panel with LED backlight, contrast and colors remain stable from every viewing angle.

Precise color control

An image can only be perfect if the colors are also perfect. For this reason, EIZO monitors feature a look-up table (LUT) with at least 10 bits, which allows color information to be assigned much more precisely than with a conventional 8-bit LUT. The finest color gradations ensure that gradients are always perfectly displayed and also offer individual adjustment options. For example, white points can be adjusted losslessly from 4000 to 10,000 Kelvin (K) in 500 K increments.

Overdrive for quick image changes

Fast, faster, Overdrive. The Overdrive function accelerates the switching time so that gray-to-gray transitions take place in an average of just 5 ms. You can watch movies and fast image changes without any annoying afterglow.

Save energy and protect your eyes with Auto EcoView

Day or night, bright or dark: No matter when or how you work, the Auto EcoView function continuously measures changes in ambient light and optimizes the screen for ideal brightness levels. Completely automatically using a sensor. The advantages: Annoying glare is reduced, and your eyes don't tire as quickly. A special two-point control takes the brightest and darkest environments throughout the day into account when setting the desired screen brightness. Another advantage: Thanks to the automatic brightness adjustment, you can save up to 50% energy compared to a monitor that is constantly running at full brightness. Of course, you can still adjust the monitor manually. The EcoView index provides an indication of how environmentally friendly and economical your settings are. Flicker-free working

To protect your eyes, EIZO developed a hybrid backlight control technology. This combines the advantages of the usual PWM (pulse width modulation) control and DC (direct current) control. PWM control uses much higher frequencies than standard PWM methods. The result: a flicker-free viewing experience while maintaining image quality and color stability. Furthermore, compared to pure DC control, you can set the brightness to less than 1% of the maximum value in dimly lit rooms. The advantage: Your screen remains glare-free even under these conditions. The flicker-free nature and low blue light content of EIZO FlexScan monitors are certified by TÜV Rheinland.

Anti-reflective coating: more image, less reflection

The EV2456 features an optimally coated surface. By minimizing reflections by scattering reflected light, the EV2456 effectively prevents glare and eyestrain. Eye fatigue is reduced, and you can sit comfortably in front of the monitor without having to "force" yourself to avoid glare.

Flexible stand

Ergonomic and stable: the adjustable stand focuses on ergonomics. You can rotate, pivot, and tilt the monitor to find the most comfortable position for your back, neck, and sitting posture. Its height can be continuously adjusted and lowered almost to the tabletop or the base of the stand. This allows you to ergonomically position the top line of the screen below eye level.

With the touch of a button, you can set the appropriate preset for brightness, gamma correction, and color temperature. For example, Paper mode simulates the pleasant contrast of printed paper, thus protecting your eyes while reading and preventing fatigue.

Screen InStyle

In addition to the on-screen menu, the EV2456 can be conveniently controlled from a Windows PC using the Screen InStyle software. Settings include, for example, color reproduction, energy-saving options, and ergonomic features. In multi-monitor systems, Screen InStyle allows settings to be applied synchronously to all connected monitors. System administrators can centrally manage and control network-connected monitors using the Screen InStyle Server application. This optimizes power consumption and simplifies monitor asset management.

Save energy without sacrificing quality: The EcoView Optimizer automatically reduces the backlight for dark images. This reduces power consumption by up to 30%. At the same time, the signal is amplified and the color values ​​are adjusted. The result: You experience the usual picture quality with lower power consumption.

Zero-watt consumption thanks to power switch

The monitors feature an integrated, mechanical power switch. This is extremely convenient and energy-saving: If you turn the monitor off using the power switch, the device consumes no power at all. In standby mode, consumption is a maximum of 0.5 watts.
