With 1920 x 1200 pixels, an IPS LCD module with LED backlight and a low-reflection surface, it delivers detailed and excellent image reproduction. This makes working in the office easier. Auto-EcoView ensures a glare-free view of the image and adjusts the brightness to suit the environment. EcoView-Sense uses an infrared sensor to determine whether the EV2436W is still in use. If not, it saves energy. Overall, the large monitor appears very compact, with a bezel measuring just 16 millimeters.

Compact and space-saving design

A modern LCD module with an extremely narrow bezel allows for an extremely compact housing. The border around the image measures a maximum of 16 mm. The power supply and signal interfaces are optimally integrated into the device.

Outstanding image quality

With a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and a brightness of 300 cd/m², you get first-class picture quality with clear graphics and textures, as well as sharp text contours. Whether you're sitting in the center or to the side of the screen, and no matter which part of the image you're viewing, a consistently high level of color and grayscale contrast is maintained right to the corners.

Economical and environmentally friendly

The mercury-free backlighting with energy-efficient yet bright white LEDs is a particular highlight of the EV2436W. It consumes just 19 watts during typical use, reducing energy costs and CO2 emissions.

Auto EcoView

The EcoView sensor measures the ambient light and adjusts the screen brightness fully automatically. In bright light, the image brightness is increased, while in darker light, it is reduced. Manual brightness control is also possible. The user can freely determine the desired image brightness. The EcoView index provides an indication of how environmentally friendly the respective setting is.

EcoView Sense

Where energy saving counts, the EV2436W excels with its EcoView Sense technology. It automatically turns the monitor on and off depending on whether the user is in front of the screen. It detects the user's return before the mouse and keyboard are moved. Therefore, the monitor is always ready for use immediately and wastes no energy when the user is away.

EcoView Optimizer

The EcoView Optimizer determines and takes the white component of the image content into account when controlling the backlight. For dark images, light emission is reduced, so power consumption can be reduced by up to 30%. However, the user-defined image brightness is maintained because the EcoView Optimizer adjusts the color values ​​accordingly.

Eco Timer

To save energy, EIZO uses two methods: The Eco Timer automatically switches the monitor to off mode after a user-defined time, reducing energy consumption. The power switch directly on the monitor completely shuts off energy consumption—thus reducing unnecessary CO2 emissions and costs.

Overdrive

Pixel switching is accelerated so dramatically by a pre-calculated overdrive that switching between different tones takes an average of only 6 ms. Moving images in fast video sequences, games, and 3D CAD animations are displayed at unprecedented speeds and without annoying delays.

Precise color control

A color temperature control allows white points to be adjusted in 500-degree increments between 4,000 and 10,000 K. Additionally, the color saturation (gain) for RGB colors can be adjusted separately.

Fine Contrast

This feature offers various display modes with different presets for brightness, color temperature, and gamma. At the touch of a button, it provides ideal viewing for office applications, internet viewing, and images (sRGB). Paper mode simulates the pleasant contrast and white balance of printed documents. Two user modes are also available for custom settings.

Digital and analog inputs

One DisplayPort and one DVI-D input each allow for the connection of digital signals. A D-Sub input is available for analog signals. Up to three computers can be connected simultaneously.

USB hub

An integrated USB hub allows you to connect peripherals. For example, a keyboard and mouse can be connected to the monitor on the desk.

ScreenManager Pro for DDC

ScreenManager Pro is designed for convenient monitor control via software within the Windows interface, as an alternative to the on-screen display. A signal cable is all that's needed for connection. It's even possible to link monitor settings with application software, for example, switching to sRGB display settings when opening the browser.

Audio capable

The speakers and headphone jack are discreetly integrated into the case.

FlexStand

It allows for swivel and tilt, as well as operation in both portrait and landscape formats. The continuous height adjustment starts at the very bottom of the desk and has a range of 16 centimeters. This guarantees optimal ergonomics, regardless of whether you're standing or sitting in front of the screen. Despite its maximum range of motion, the FlexStand base always remains completely stable.
