Our project partner Fairventures ensures that former rainforest areas are replanted and actively involves the local population in the process.
We chose a reforestation project in Borneo because trees are planted and protected there, which absorb climate-damaging carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere as they grow. And almost incidentally, the forest is also an incredibly important ecosystem for animals, plants, and us humans.
Why do we plant trees?
